Christmas at the Horse and Groom, Wivenhoe

Gather your favourite people and celebrate the festive season with us at the Horse and Groom. Whether you’re bringing the family together, catching up with friends or enjoying a Christmas lunch with colleagues, join us for good food, live music and a warm welcome.

Our festive lunches are served from 12:30pm to 5pm, with a Christmas menu full of seasonal favourites. Start with deep-fried brie and cranberry, tomato and basil soup, or chicken liver pâté. For your main, choose traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings, homemade turkey and ham pie, butternut squash risotto filo pie, or roast rib of beef.

Save a little room for Christmas pudding, lemon posset with Christmas-spiced shortbread, or baked white chocolate and blueberry cheesecake. There are complimentary mini mince pies to enjoy, too.
